Alex Barron has supported and spoken at several Republican Liberty Caucus of Idaho events all over the State on the issues of how to expand liberty in the State of Idaho; this over several years starting in approximately 2012. He has protested abortion in Spokane Valley, and refugees being placed without local permission in Sandpoint.
Alex has also been a keynote speaker for the Northwest Liberty Academy for several years. For the last few years, he has spoken at Northwest Nazarene University, where he spoke on the interdependence of liberty and capitalism.
Kootenai County Republican committeemen unanimously elected him to the Executive Committee for the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee in 2016, then elected him unanimously again in 2018. He was also elected as Vice Chairman of Legislative District 3 Republicans in 2018.
He has volunteered at the Republican State meeting in Boise for several years, most recently working on the State Rules Committee. These current political positions are the culmination of a long and distinct career in the public and private sectors.
