I am humbled to share that James Wesley Rawles, New York Times bestselling author, has endorsed me for Idaho State Senate 3. As many of you know, James is a significant voice in the Second Amendment circles, creator of the American Redoubt concept, and the Senior Editor of SurvivalBlog. Recently a Buzzfeed progressive did another story of why Idaho is becoming more conservative, and they listed three “culprits”; the American Redoubt political migration, Idaho Second Amendment Alliance (I2AA), and “Birchism.” Whatever that means. James Rawles is a fellow veteran, a former U.S. Army Intelligence officer. Survivalblog is often listed as one of the top self-sufficiency blogs every year since its launch in 2005.
Mr. Rawles said, “I wholeheartedly endorse Alex Barron’s candidacy. He is a genuine conservative Christian Republican with a pro-individual freedom outlook. He is strongly pro-life and pro-Second Amendment. I consider him the perfect candidate. And of course, he is one of the key organizers of the American Redoubt movement.”
James Rawles is enthusiastic about my campaign that he donated $5 Quadrillion Dollars to the Committee to Elect Alex Barron — in Zimbabwean dollars, that is!
Thank you for everyone who left a positive comment on SurvivalBlog about my candidacy. I do have a question? If you had a chance to get James Rawles to autograph Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse his first significant novel or How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain Times which would you choose? Please let me know in the comments below.
